Amanda Mandii is a multi-talented East Coast-based visual artist, writer, and director.
Originally from the Bronx, NY, born to Cuban and Jamaican parents. She spent most of her formative years in Westchester County, NY, where she developed a passion for truth, creativity, and social justice.
With a focus on these themes, Amanda’s work showcases her undeniable wit, her love of human interaction, and her talent for character development. She is committed to challenging negative stereotypes and changing the narrative, particularly when it comes to Black representation.
Behind the camera, Amanda strives to tell stories and capture imagery that elicits emotional responses, fosters connection, and inspires transformation.
Amanda’s portfolio includes assisting in writing an independent series and single-handedly directing the pilot. Currently, she is in the act of co-writing and directing a short film.
